    Integra LS or RSX?

I'v been savin up recently for new car (or used but with 50k miles or less on it). Want to spend probabaly 20k at most. I know i'm not really the car enthusiast and I don't really know a whole lot about em but I think I have a pretty good idea of what I want. I'v been trying to look for somethin with some pretty good gas mileage, nice stereo system, and of course somethin that looks nice. I kinda had my eye on these 2 acuras: integra ls and rsx but I was wondering which of these seems more appealing to you. Just wanna hear everyone's opinion on these 2 cars so can I can get an idea of which one might be better.

1st is the Integra LS - great lookin car, heard that it handles pretty good but seems too small.

2nd is an Acura RSX - looks a little larger then the Integra. has a great sound system but not really sure about the mileage and the performance.

Seems too small? eh? What, do you want a big muscle car? Small cars are good for hills, in the fact that they are lighter and dont require as much power to get over them. heh

Dealing with the RSX and "mileage" do you mean miles on the car, or the gas mileage, cuz you could just look up the gas mileage in a mag or the net. =P

In my opinion, out of those two, i'd go with the RSX, but the Type-S version, if you can afford it...cuz i see too many riced out integras -_-, and there is less rice out there for RSX's. I think. Meh, I'd rather just try and find another used car for about that price, maybe an S2000 or IS300? *shrugs* Maybe even an old Evo...heh

Well, the questions are the following:

    1. Do you want to buy from a private seller or from a dealership?
    2. How much do you have saved now?
    3. Do you know someone that is an experienced mechanic? Why would I ask this? Because you don't want to overpay for some car that is burning engine and transmission oil.

The LS is an okay car. It's just the base model of Integra's. It handles okay. But, if you really want a good handling FWD car, find an Integra Type-R or just purchase the new Honda Civic Si.

The RSX is sweet. The Type-S version has awesome power and handling too. 200hp to be exact. Backed by a 6spd manual, that's nice.

You might also want to look for a 1991 - 1996 Integra RS.

By the way, get one with a manual transmission. Atleast, you'll have some fun with the car.

Well what I meant by size is passenger space. Doesn't look to confortable in the Integra. I'm not lookin for a huge car but for somethin with some decent space inside. Also I was talkin about gas mileage. Checked out a few sites today and the gas mileage looks pretty good for both cars. Hmm but I think I will go for the RSX. I already have a few thousand saved up already and alot of people seem to agree that the RSX is a great choice. thanks for the info everyone.

wow... i havnt posted in this one... anyway, the rsx. the integra doesnt have the ka20 powerplant the rsx does, and the ka is proven to hold excess of 800hp, 1000 if done right.

haha. yes, yes. the ka wasnt built to handle a turbine hanging on the side of the block like the srt-4's was. the engine in that booger is more than capable of holding its own, but the topic was an integra or rsx... which are owned my honda, not dodge...

hmmmmm, personally, i'd go with the rsx. The integra is such a ricer car, much too common. If you can get the rsx type s go for it!!! the only thing i think could be wrong if you got the regular rsx, not the type s, would be that as soon as u get off the gas, the car stops dead in its tracks, i've seen this problem with other acuras, but not sure about the newer ones. All together though i like the rsx
