Gogo soccer. I have been playing soccer for 15 years, and hope to play beyond that. I've broken an arm and a leg while playing in the Jubesto Tournament in Venezeula about 5 years ago. Overall, soccer (futbol) is a great sport.

now here is a sport u don't here everyday, but i've seen it is one bad thing if u fall. SHOVEL SLEDING-WHEN U TAKE A SHOVEL AND SLIDE DOWN THE SIDE OF A MOUNTAIN ON THE SHOVEL. My favorite sport is basketball because there is so much action involved in it. Also unlike other sports, basketball keeps on continuing and doesn't have a lot of pauses in the games like football, etc. I also like soccer though. Oh okie dokie.. you consider Softball an "OTHER"?! WTF That is totally not cool. Softball is a sport just like baseball, basketball, soccer, Track, tennis, ect. Softball isn't as easy as all you baseball players think! Proven knowledge a softball doesn't travel as far as a baseball that is why we have a smaller feild. If you take any good baseball team up against a softball team ( Playin softball) You would see it isn't that easy. And if you take the same two teams and play a game of baseball it would be a close game. I know because I have done this before! Obvioulsy you can tell my favorite sport is SOFTBALL!!!! Well I don't consider softball as an other.

my favorite sport is tennis. i really enjoy playing it with my friends and it gets really competitive. i play on the varsity team and its really fun. we went undefeated this year (my freshman year). i think its really cool how you have to play smart on every point and play good every single point.

I love anything that has to do with fighting.... err, martial arts. Boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, etc. I mostly watch UFC, Pride FC, and K-1 for mixed martial arts and kickboxing.

in my case....it has to be bowling. some people say that it isnt that hard of a sport..let me just say...THAT THEY ARE FULL OF IT! i have broken my leg 2 times in bowling...and im the only person ive ever heard of to do that. i have an average of about 148. im really good. i have even been invited to participate in the international games in ireland before. sp if any of you (guys) wanna go bowl.....come see me....and if any of you girls have a thing for bowlers...well then im your man!...(that is if there are even a girls who likes guys who bowl.....).

I don't care what you others think about it, it's THE HARDEST sport among all games. Swimming is the only other that can compare to how much demand it takes from the body.

Track and Field:
Physical exertion? Check
Skill? Tell me this, how easy is it to run a mile in less than 5 minutes or how easy is it to run 100meters in 10.0 seconds? You have to know how your body works, you have to know when to push and when to hold back.

Hmm... sounds like a skill to me. You need to learn how to do those things in order to do the things we runners do.


Why is it so hard? Like I said, it's not easy to run a 5 minute mile or an 10 second 100 meter dash. You have to train EVERY DAY. You skip a day, it's like taking 1 step forward and then 2 steps back. You have to work every part of your body and condition it as best you can in order to run what seems impossible.

"Run in circles? What's the point?"
We have many reasons, I run for Pride and for the reason that there is ALWAYS a goal to achieve. You can NEVER master T & F. As soon as you set a record, it's old news. What next? Beat that time. Set another record. You've beated every competitor you've met? Good job, now beat your best time AGAIN. The Clock is the ultimate competitor.

That brings me to another reason why it's great. NO TIME OUTS. Time outs are for those who show weakness and fatigue. Track runners don't stop, why? You stop, your race is over.

Oh, I'm not saying any other sport is not a good sport. Believe me, I LOVE Basketball and Football. I LIVE those sports. BUT, none can compare to the kinds of thrills and satisfactions that T & F give.

Example of that? Pennsylvania Relays Carnival EVERY last weekend of April. You have NO idea the RUSH I get by competing in front of 40,000+ screaming Fans.
