Since the other thread would probably ruin it for a lot more people, I deleted it. It's a shame it couldn't have been deleted sooner.
If anyone posts spoilers here, you'll get in trouble.

alright....here is what happens in the end
*DONT READ.....SPOILERS*
hahahaha just joking sean
anyway my friend bought the book about 4 days ago he finished it in 2 cause he really liked this one...he lent it to me and im about 2 thirds way through and it is really good. Like u know they are all older...no noob wizards here....haha. The story is alot more entertaining and it kinda latches onto you...once u start reading u cant really put the book down. If u have read the previous books u really should get this one.

Yeah, even after reading the five books before it, it's kind of tough to remember all the spells and what they do. But this was, by far, my favorite book. I finished it yesterday, my third day with the book, and let me tell you it was great! If you hated the fifth book and stopped reading, I suggest reading it anyway, because even though the fifth book was crappy, this one is worth it.

RAWR!!!
I really didn't intend for spoilers to happen. They kept being posted and crap, so I was just "What the heck. It shouldn't matter now." Yeah I'm sorry about that.
I really enjoyed the book. Even in the first few chapters, I was amazed at what was happening. It was scary, and good all at the same time. I was also amazed how much the characters have grown. It doesn't seem so long ago that they were 11 and clueless. Now they know what to expect and Harry fights back when he is offended. Like in one of the chapters with snape. Yeah good read.

Anyways, Harry really does mature in this book. I really hope he becomes an Auror (is that considered a spoiler o.O)

nope not really, bcuz he says he wants to be that in book 5, so that would be a spoiler for book 5 not 6.

Congrats.
He really should be an Auror. With his grades atleast. But doesn't he need an outstanding in Defense against, and potions? What else does he need an Oustanding in?

I belive a N.E.W.T Transfiguration, but I'm not sure.
I loved the book. When I finished it (16 hours or so) I had trouble breathing, I was tingling and I felt cheated because we have to wait so long for the next one.
I'm a loser.

16 hours? you read slow, if you're counting time spent with the book.
Too much of a set up for book 7. All I have to say.
him fighting back is called Hermonies(sp?) *blinks* uh, what?

This one was more thought-provoking than the others. I seriously couldn't put it down once I started. It puts the seventh book on the spot to conclude the series. Harry has changed from a mis-treated pre-teen to a raging teenager.

He's been a raging teenager since Book 5, in my opinion. Book 6 is when he fully matures into an adult. Note that Dumbledore says 17 is when a wizard comes of age. Harry turns 17 in the final book.

Time had a recent article saying that (AS A PREDICTION) the defense against dark arts teacher instead of an Auror as he wishes. again its a prediction, just something to throw out there.
I have yet to read it and only understand that someone dies. but someone dies in every harry potter book, except i know who this one is.
I wonder what Rowling will do after the 7th book?
It'd be funny if he turned into a Voldemort like character you know, dark side and all.
What about this....What if there are more than seven books. You can't really expect J.K. to wrap all of it up in one book can you? I'd imagine she goes with 9 or 10 books.

It seemed to me as though they just set up a lot for the last book...which worries mem cuz if they rush through things I'll just die...or they could make it like 1500 pages ^^

Her writing hand will definatly fall off
Anyways, in this book, for the first time I really felt sorry for draco, Im going to explain without trying to give away spoilers. I can tell he doesn't want to be doing what hes doing and when I was reading it i could tell that draco is not that bad. When it came to the things he had to do, he was so scared. I want to give him a big hug. *tear*
