I'm suppose to read Empire by Gore Vidal by the 3rd marking period, however my teacher pushed it to the 4th marking period due to the fact that NONE of the students have made it passed page 100 out of the 472 pages in the book.
Well the book is due next month, and I'm currently on page 62 (I'm reading about 10 pages a day and 20 pages on off school days) after rereading the book FOUR times because I didn't understand it (I usually read up to chapter 2 on page 48 and then started over again). This book is just SOOO boring and difficult to understand. Has anyone read this book and can provide me with a summary of the story or know where I can find a summary online (I've visited sparknotes and bookrags and ran a search on google and can't find it)
