has any1 read this book? i have and it is really good. i recomend it to any people who like fantasy and/or sci-fi.

I love it, personally i think it's one of the most creative books in the world. I did a book report on it in where i created a prequel to the story with 4 kids with super powers supposedly had the best chance to save the world where Shade just throws them into an ambush and they get screwed. Their crowns were powered by their powers.

read it. if you don't i'm going to have to hurt you. i don't care if you don't like it, but you probably will like it.

What's it about? I'm not going to get a book, based only on the fact that it's fantasy/science fiction.

its an awsome book. all the adults disapear and the kids are taken to these camps and are harvested for robots when tehy reach the age of fourteen. but the kids who escape go to this place that is run bye this guy named shade. adn they do work for him while he takes care of them. but also some ppl get these abilities which help them in the fight against these creature things that are killing all the kids. its rea;lly good u should read it

to go further in depth, we have this mysterious group who brings 14 years olds into factories to have them ripped apart, using their muscles as parts to build battle machines in which different clans fight against each other. Then we have this mechanical robot figure who rescues kids and sends them on missions to free themselves from these people building the monsters.

its a cult hit IMO, people who know it talk about it alot, but its mostly underground. There really is no public acclaim for it.

to add on to that they also use the 14 year olds brains in the creatures.
