Even though they tell us not to, Do you judge a book by its cover? I do it sometimes... I skip books that look really old or boring. but if i heard about the book and know what is is about, I don't care what it looks like. If the summary or title sounds appealing, I might pick it up.

Oh all the time. I like flashy covers, and a good summary on the back.

I'm the opposite. I like vintage looking covers. Old books intrigue me for some reason. I also look at the summary though, to see what it's about.

Yea sure I do when I'm looking through the library and I have to pick a random book to read so I look for a book that catches my eye. I lfind a cover that looks artsy then I read through the summary on the back to see if it looks interesting.

The summary on the back is what gets me. If it sounds good, I'll take it.

I'm definitely judge a book by its cover. They're only a few books that I actually like by the cover. I limit it even more when I get picky with the summery. This is why I don't read books anymore for fun heh.

It's so sad, but I so often judge a book by its cover. I'm really picky about what I read, too. Lately I've been trying to read new things, as I am in the habit of reading old, familiar books over and over again. At the moment I am reading The Taking, by Dean Koontz. After that, I am going to try to read The Amber Spyglass. I'm on my Spriiiiiiiiing Breaaaaaaaaak!!!!!!!!!!, so I should have plenty of time.

Oops, I guess I have to read The Golden Compass first!

Ooo I do that all the time. I'm especially a sucker for those blurbs and praises at the back, I'm more selective on Amazon though, reading comments by other readers. At the bookstore I'm a dumbass so I avoid the stores whenever I can.
