is this asking for the favorite series within a book or is this just saying that Old Kingdom is good?

anyway my favorite series would probably be the Ender or Redwall ones. Both great authors.

i haven't read Old Kingdom so i can't comment on that.

The Drizzt Series would have to be my favorite. I have read almost all of the books and none of them were bad. If fact all of them were great.

If I had to pick one series though, I would pick the dark elf trilogy. Those 3 books were so awesome and so interesting. The drow city was incredible and the drows there were cool. Zaknafein was one of my favorite characters.

And out of that series Exile was my favorite...Belwar was hilarious with his Bivrip thing and the spirit wraith. Awesome book.

Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. I've read them all. I'd say my favorite was Blood and Gold.

I'm also a sucker for the Harry Potter books.

The books following Takeshi Kovacs by Richard Morgan. Trust me, some of the best sci-fi action stuff ever. The ones which have been published thus far are Altered Carbon, Broken Angels and Woken Furies. Go to your library and take a look. Now. ^_^

Other than them, the DiscWorld novels kick major arse. Terry Pratchett is a comedy genius.

Ahh...Sabriel. I just read the first one, I didn't know there were others. What are all the others called?

My favorite series would have to be the Sword of Truth series, by Terry Goodkind. There are 9 of them so far, with 3 left to go. The books are all pretty thick (about 500-800pages depending on paperback or hardback) so you have to be committed. The first book can pretty much stand on its own though. There is a smaller books called Debt of Bones that is tied to the SOT series. It is only about 150 pages.
