he's a super smart ludlum that's more into strategy then action. he is within himself in his own genre. i personally enjoy his books but one can contend im one of those jock geeks thatp lay sports but go for the nerdy things in life also.

I have never read Tom Clancy but I remember I was about to read Tom Clancy - Rainbow Six. I loved the computer game so I was tempted to read the book. Never came around reading it though.

I liked the first book I read by him, but then I started another one, and realized that it was almost the exact same thing, so I started a differant one, and It was pretty much the same thing. Conclusion: Tom Clancy is a crappy writer.

I have read Red Storm Rising 3 times in the past 2 months... And his games are phenominal... although kinda pissed that they wont release GR 2 for the PC until like 2008 GRRRR
