I want to see The Vampire Lestat done right. I don't want to see another Interview with a Vampire type pos :P
I'd also like to see some of R.A. Salvatore's Forgotten Realms novels be made into movies too. :P

That's a toughy...I'd have to think of it a bit. The first thing I thought of was : The Things they Carried by Tim O'Brien.
I'm not even sure if there IS a movie for that or not. But it came to mind. Maybe I'll randomly think of a good book another day. lol.

If I remember right isn't that a collection of his war experiences? That would be interesting too.

nothing. i hate nothing more than a good book butchered into a movie. real directors have the inspiration to create their own ideas. granted, some are very good, LOTR for example, but by no means is it something that i like seeing more of.

Though I liked IWTV, they would not be able to make The Vampire Lestat like that. If they made a good TVL movie, I'd die. That would be so awesome. QotD was just a disgrace, except Aaliyah looked really cool.
You know what book I'd like to see made into a movie? Brokeback Mountain. Oh wait. Silly me. They've already started making a movie for that. And you know what? It's finished being filmed but I have to wait an entire year before it even hits theatres. ;_;

Yep. It's all different stories about his experiences in Vietnam.
A part that particularly stuck in my mind was how all the soldiers in his group didn't want to be there...and that one of them sent body lice to the Draft Board in spite. heh heh. I dunno why THAT of all parts remains in my memory. Funny though. lol.

I liked Interview until I read the book. Then I felt cheated that they left so much out(Though, the movie was pretty long even with the stuff they left out).
But yeah, TVL would be better than sex...well maybe not. It would still be pretty damn cool though :P

I can't believe I almost forgot about that book. Great stuff. Sad, but great. Yeah, that would make an interesting film.
I think my favorite part was the story of the soldier who wore his girlfriend's pantyhose around his neck for good luck. XD

Neverwhere, definitly, WoT, also, anything by Robin McKinly, The Banned and the Banished Series by James Clemens, Ender's Game (best book ever). I also want to see a non-animated version of the Chronicles of Narnia, and The Prydain Chronicles. The Earthsea Saga would be good too. The problem is, I want to be the one directing all the movies though.

The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrob is going to be released December 25, 2005 from Disney, I'm fairly certain it'll be live actions
While I was checking that out I found out that 'His Dark Materials Trilogy' will be released around 2005 or 2006
All of this was found on movies.yahoo.com

Oh definately. I would love to see that made into a movie and done well. That would be so awesome.
Man, just watching the scene where he's fighting the wolves up in the snow would be so badass.

Ha ha ha. That was so funny. Yea...even though I'm not a huge fan of war stories. These would be great.

The Dragonlance Legends Trilogy would be an awsome movie, (If done like LOTOR, which sadly would be unlikely,) the onle proble I could see is that they are books 4-6 in the core series. I liked them better than the Cronicals Trilogy though.

"The books of Magic" by Neil Gaiman would be a great movie. It has so much storyline in it and depth that I don't think it being made into a movie would ruin it.

I have no Idea how it would be done, but the possability of "The anarchist's cookbook" on the big screen amuses me greatly.
