Hmm...since hardly anyone seems to be voicing an opinion on the answer to the question, I'll give it a whirl. My guess on someone dying would be Remus Lupin. One reason being he is my second favorite character (next to Sirius) and my favorites always die. Two...the mauraders are dropping like flies.

But more importantly. There may be the possibility of Wormtail killing him. Because Wormtail now has a SILVER hand. And Lupin, being a werewolf, can't go up against that. It almost seems like it will happen no matter what, why not in the 6th book...*sigh* If it does happen...I just hope he takes Wormtail with him. Of course, it is just a crazy theory. I could be blowing things out of proportion.

I sort of got tired of the 'Harry Potter style'...by the time I read the 4th it just sounded...meh. I probably just grew out of it. Someone bought me the 5th but I just have no urge to read it.

Eh, I suppose Hagrid would die. Most of Ron's family is probably going to die by the end of the 6th or 7th. To create a real situation where Harry has to face the villain alone with no help, most of the people he's counted on are going to have to die (A lot like Evangleion, I just hope Harry doen't sit in a corner and cry for an hour. God-damned Shinji.) And I'm betting my life Harry’s going to die at the end of the 7th. It’s so obvious too. -_- Someone told me what happened at the end of the 5th, and how Gandal- I mean Dumbldore (come on people, he’s a direct rip-off of Gandalf) didn't kill you know whom. Well, I have a feeling that 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' is going to be boring... Just because it's the 'getting ready for the war!' part of the series.

I really think Snape has a chance of dying in this one. Voldemort finding out he's a spy, Avada Kadavra *****, and he drops like a bag o' potatoes.

I agree 100%, mate. The thing is...Lupin is my FAVORITE Maurader and if he dies I'm going to cry. *sniffle* J.K. Rowling let Sirius slip behind the veil (HE IS ALIVE! I'LL FIND HIM, DAMN IT!!) so she figures, "Hey, let's just kill Remus since he's the last good one. Plus, he's a freaking werewolf...who cares if he dies?"

I've only seen the first two movies and I have no intention of reading the books, but I say it should be anyone who after six years still calls him "Harry Potter" not "Harry" or "Potter". That was my complaint about the movies, the phrase "Harry Potter" was said a hundred time in a hou and a half.

I started reading the books when I was in 6th grade and I still read the book every time a new one comes out. The media has made Harry Potter into the book version of The macarena but I still like the series. It wouldn't make any sense for him to die in book 6 when there are suppose to be 7 in the series. Don't ruin it with spoils just be patient and read it yourself. My favorite character in it already died.

I think that Wormtail dies b/c too many "good" people have died. In the third book, Wormtail needs to repay Harry, so I think it would be his life. Wormtail just follows Voldemort out of fear so he's not really a true follower.

It's not like we know who is going to die. The book isn't even out yet. We're just giving out our own little opinions on what we think. Besides, if people don't want to hear the rumors they just won't read this thread.

I didnt read the last book that came out because with middle school (or at least in my school, apparantly everywhere around my school is easy) comin on me i didnt have time to read it. at all.

The people who said harry wouldnt die were probably right. it sounds like a good idea, im a writers point of view, and if it came out that way thinking it would be good, it would be bad, because many of the pople reading the series wouldnt take that. But even if he were to die, there would be a 7th book. Opposing my theory, I think Rowling is a great writer and could write harrys death and the book following it very well.

Im really not sure who will die at all, but i think harrys aunt/uncle/cousin should die if they didnt already. the final book would be nice if harry had a good away-from-hogwarts place to live.

I dont know if any of the stuff i talked about has happened already cause i didnt read the last book, so super fans of harry's dont get on me too bad.
