Hey, Kissing Doorknobs was on my summer reading list. I read that, it was a good book. I read Speak, too. And two other books by Laurie Halse Anderson. Fever 1793 ( I think that was the year...) And Catalyst. Oh..and.. The Outsiders was a good book but I can't recall the author. And the whole Face On The Milk Carton series. Yeah.. I read a lot of those books.

Dont knock Speak, that was probably the only book our school ever made us read that I actually enjoyed.
I read The Lovely Bones which I guess can be counted as a teen drama novel. It was a pretty moving book, though part of the ending was a little weird and uneeded.

I just got up to '3rd Marking Period' (part 3 or maybe chapter 3 in the book) so basically I just finished the first half. Right now I'm kind of bored of it but I"m still waiting for the climax, unless it already passed
Basically its about this shy girl who doesn't talk to anyone and has no friends except for one girl (heather) who eventually SPOILER: dumps her for a group of more popular friends :SPOILER
She use to have other friends but they all abandoned her and then she made several enemies in school after she SPOILER: called the cops to crash a end of summer party :SPOILER
Also I forgot to mention I also read 'Monster' which is a REALLY good book. It's a screen play about a guy who is accused for murder after hanging out with the wrong group of friends. Althought Kissing Doorknobs is still my favorite. I'm planning to read 'Cut' after I finish a few books I just bought and 2 books for school (The Theif Lord for english and Nothing But The Truth for english again bleh damn english)

I read "Cut" it was a really easy book, but pretty good I guess. and monster was great.
Well I finished reading speak and I changed my opinion on it, it is a good book with a really good plot. I just don't like the style of writing which is basically what threw me off at first and made me say "i hate it", but once i got near the ending and the story was coming to a close it became really good.
My overall rating: 8 out of 10

Speak is one of my favorite books, actually. I love that book. I reread it over spring break because I sort of skimmed it the first time. Cut is great also. Check out You Don't Know Me by David Klass. Defiantely a great book.

"Breaking Glass" is a real good book, and it deals alot with Peer Pressure. The format of it was a bit annoying at first, but when you get to the end you understand just what the heck They were talking about

no. never.
theres enough of that garbage on tv like laguna beach and degrassi.
and the movie "thirteen" was more than enough. teen drama is lame.
keep it in high school. not the press.
