Good question...but sorry I can't answer that one. Well...I can at least say that it isn't me. I draw and do art well and all but there are some awesome people here. But you also gotta put into account that there are all different kinds of art and some people are better at one than others. Uh.....hmmmm....maybe I should go look around.

PORRIE DEFINITELY! I remember the drawing he drew for me and it was soooooooooo kawaii!!! ^^ But if my brother was on Dragid... I'd have to say him. He's REALLY good at drawing ANYTHING from cartoon-like stuff that makes you laugh... to artistic things that you make you have to think and move you... ^^

i used to like to draw. I sell my stuff now. I will get assigned something and when i deliver the art, i get paid. I once got $30 just for this freakin sweet picture of Spiderman fighting Mysterio and another $25 for this picture of The Punisher. This local comic book store displays them and sells them.

if you're talking about good as in their knowledge of how to draw, I dont think anybody here is. I cant recall any pictures I've seen that use anatomy (fundamental when trying to draw human figure) correctly, and rarely do I see perspective used correctly. Some of Por Pors work has great perspective, but I'm not going to pick at everything I think is wrong with it... since this isnt a critiques thread. I really dont think anyone here is very good ^^"

If I had to pick though, I'd say Moltov. Most of his human figures are close to perfect, though they usually seem a little stiff (by that I mean not very relaxed...).

I'll post some scetches of mine in a seperate thread I suppose. I know my limits with my artwork, so I cant really say that I'm "the best" here... but I am proud of the fact that I am familiar with human anatomy, as well as perspective ^^"

were not going to believe your the best if you dont even show any work wut so ever so you might want to show some. in terms of fan art i saw devederoms stuff and thats hella good, but like molotov said, its fanart. so in terms of best artist id say porporcoro or molotov bomb cuz i saw there stuff and its hella good

that's because my line art is usually intended to be colored, and i focus all my detailing when coloring. ive never really seen anything you've done in color, or any other medium than pencil. so i cant necessarily say you couldn't duplicate my colored art. but maybe ill draw something up with a lot more detail and post it later.
also, you need some work with texturing, because a lot of the stuff you draw is definitely very detailed, but not very natural or realiztic looking (just a critique).

When I see extremely detailed pictures, I usually think that the artist is trying to cover something up. I dont like very detailed pictures, especially if there is not any color... it makes it difficult to define things within the picture.

give a little, get a little. On the first one i somewhat dislike the perspective of the the hand holding the gun. It just doesnt look right. Nor with the legs. Its all so unnatural. (the slouching)


To tell the truth, its maybe because anime has gotten a lot more well known, that everyone ends up having the same style whereas more american looking Marvel comicesque drawings are disappearing. Its good to know that there are still american comic art still emphasizing on originality. I dont see many artists on Dragid backing away from the anime style. Except for Molotov's tagging, but i think i might scan some tags ive done so i can show how i do in that. I suppose I'm not good at making things look realistic in comparison to giant anime eyes.
