I put this here because i thought it was more PC Game related then help related... but since i don't know as much as i'd like about computers... i wanted to ask to see if i could play some games.. Right now I'm currently running...

eMachines T2692 (keep laughing till u find out how much it cost)
80 Gig HD
512 MB DDR RAM
GeForceFX 5600 PCI 128
2.6 ghz Intel Celeron Processor
DVD/CD-RW Drive yada yada yada...

well anywho the jist of it is i've been trying to figure out if ill be able to play some of the new games that are out... with the stuff im running... anyone know if i'd be able to play...

Battlefield Vietnam
Unreal Tournament 2004
Call Of Duty

Any input as to wether my specs are acceptable, or wether i am in SERIOUS need of an upgrade lemme know... also if any other people have Computer Spec questions.. or PC game spec questions post them here. Thanks

you should be set for quite a while. only thing you may ever need to upgrade anytime soon would be...most likely the videocard and maybe slapping another stick or RAM is...but you have a pretty nice set up. for comparisons and charts and graphs and such go here:
videocard comparison http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/20031229/index.html
other comparisons
http://www.tomshardware.com/
on the left side down the page there says "toms guides" click on them and enjoy...and yes, you'll be able to play all those games, quite nicely

thats about as cheap as your going to find it...best prices for the best quality go to www.newegg.com
people on here may also suggest www.pricewatch.com but be warned on there, some of the cheap ram wont work with certain computers, so i'd suggest just sticking to newegg ^_^

alright well.. i almost bought a whole new motherboard and video card form newegg but i realized it would have cost way more than i could afford... cuz trying to upgrade a crappy computer is very hard if your very cheap.. but i'll check them out... im also gonna try to check one of the local computer places to see if i can maybe trade in my old ram towards the direct purcahse of some new stuff.. but thanks the help Dark Phire
