whats better, SC or WC3

ok this is about the game play and stuff not about the graphic or whatever.

i would have to say that SC is better because you could built and swarm the opponent like crazy. go all out dark templars.... hehehe or all out carriers... hehehe

Depends on what you're looking for in a game.

Starcraft = Creating hundreds of units and attacking en masse.
Warcraft 3 = Using strategy and managing a few units.

Personally, I prefer Starcraft over Warcraft 3. There's too much thinking in it, and I don't like to think too much.

Starcraft Definately. I never got into Warcraft as i did into Starcraft. Starcraft is much more fun in my opinion. Warcraft, too tactical. Starcraft, more fun.

You're talking from the point of view of an average player. Nowadays, the level of skilled players in SC has dropped significantly because money maps are allowed in regular map play, which turned a masterful game into what you just described.

The REAL way to play SC (not that BGH/money/fast map bullshit) involves VERY intense micromanagement, much greater than WC3. There's more units to pay attention to, plus they die faster in battle, so you'll have to make split second decisions in order to keep as many alive as possible. In WC3, micromanagement is much, much more simplified (auto-casting, longer lasting units) to make it easier for an average player to hang in battle. Also, the average level of skilled players is higher based solely on the fact that wins and losses are only counted on regular (ladder) maps.

Overall, Starcraft is a better game. The reason why so many players say different is simply because it's outdated and, unless you play money maps, it's that much harder than WC3 when it comes to tactics. WC3 has done some new things to RTS gaming, but it's leagues away from being on the same level as SC.

WC kicks SCs *ss! Starcraft is just who can make 200 Hydrolisks first WC has more races, units, spells/abilities, maps, heros, and a hell of alot more stratiegic options. And few more things but im not going to type a sermon. I dont mean to put down SC in any way its an awsome game but its not even on the same level as WC. I sense a sluaghter ahead.

WC all the way. it has a uniqe gamestyle, better units and it takes a lot more stratigy and SC gets old after a while
