Oh, my god, dude, that has gotta be not only the weakest thread start I've ever seen, but the weakest post as well. Can I please murder you and have your soul? It'll be a fitting addition to the collection of people owned, both on Dragid and in other places.

Anyways, I don't really think there's much to be said on this if you read the posts on that thread of mine that primal was nice enough to give you a link to. This thread has been done over and over and over and over, on both sides of the line, by people who think Halo sucks and by people who think Halo rules. And most people who enjoy good FPS realize Halo sucks. Go play some Unreal, whether it be the original, or UT, or UII, or UT2k3/2k4, whatever, just as long as it's not some worthless, unoriginal, half-assed ripoff of a first person shooter that's played by people that I have less remorse about bashing than I do flushing the toilet after I shit. Since I have a feeling I'll be seeing you aorund Dragid more than I'd care to I'll just save it for another day.

Oh yeah, and to add to that whole UT thing, i've been playing the UT2k4 demo and i'm planning to get the full version this sunday. And right now.. UT2K4 > Halo/Halo 2 Trailer to the frekkin 10000th power. Spider mines? God damn that thing is so damn useful.

No it doesssnt. Halo is an overhyped, mediocre at best FPS which was over exposed and has since taken the title of best FPS unjustly. When will people realize that Goldeneye, Quake, Perfect Dark, and Time Splitters 2 are much superior FPSs.

i dont love it..but i dont have anything against it. the multiplayer is fun when you are screwing around with your friends...and i dont think it has the greatest plot but its alright..i cant say its awful. most first person shooters are not plot driven...

If you're looking for plot-driven FPS play something like Unreal II or Aliens vs. Predator 2. Both have amazing gameplay, amazing story, and they even kick Halo's ass in the graphics department which seems to be the favorite of all XBox fans, seeing as how graphics are the only thing their shitty system has going for it.

I like playing Halo. Not the best FPS but I still like playing it. Especially multiplayer with the warthogs. Most of the time when I'm playing with my cousins we'll each take a warthog and just try ramming into eachother thus knocking one of us out and then getting run over. I'm also quite fond of the blue sticky bombs. Tis fun sneaking up on someone, chucking it at them, and then running away as they chase after you in an attempt to take you out when they blow up.

But I'd pick Golden Eye or Doom over Halo any day though.
