I've been doing a lot of training and studying about martial arts lately, and I've been on the run lately about pointing out strengths and weaknesses. I thought I'd give it a try here, just to see how I match up vs everybody else ^^

Fighters of Dragid, whether you practice oriental arts, combat arts, or just straight up brawling, post your statistics here. I'll use mine as an example:

Height: 5'8"
Weight: 210 (in mixed martial arts, I think I qualify as Light Heavyweight)
Fighting Style(s): Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling
Strengths: punching power, strong kicks, raw strength, very tough, submission skills improving, very dangerous in clinches
Weaknesses: poor stamina, unrefined technique, still developing grappling skills, limited ground-fighting knowledge

These are my actual stats according to observers. Anybody else willing to HONESTLY share their fighting attributes?

Well, here goes nothin...

Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 130-135 (haven't checked in a while...)
Fighting Styles: Boxing, barroom brawling, a bit of amateur wrestling
Strengths: determination, quick thinker, able to maintain a strategy, mean left hook, can knock over almost any opponent, not afraid to deliver nut shots
Weaknesses: determination, short reach, easily manhandled due to light weight

I should probably explain a few things. Determination is both a strength and a weakness because not knowing when to quit can be a bad thing from time to time. "Able to maintain a strategy" means that before the fight even starts, I have a strategy in mind..like I may decide to work on the left side of his body. No matter what happens during that fight, I am able to keep working on that left side regardless of what he does to stop me. "Can knock over almost any opponent" means that I can get enough adreneline pumping to tackle just about anyone and take them down.

There you go.

Determination is both a strength and a weakness because not knowing when to quit can be a bad thing from time to time.

Amen to that. Although you should see Wanderlei Silva (the Brazilian guy kicking the Japanese guy in my pic) as a great example of how far determination takes you. He's the Pride Light-Heavyweight Champ with a record of 25-3, and hasn't lost a single match in 4 years.

5'11

Styles - Punch-you-in-the-damn-face-ate, barroom brawling. Working on spike style fighting. Boxing
Pros - I think outside the box and use whatever I can get my hands on (sock + 8 ball = good times) I can take a beating, I dont care if you die thats your fault for being stupid. An opportunist, strategist, wicked rage
Cons- Not caring about death (I get arrested)
no real technique
no foot work as of yet
not as strong as i would like to be nor as fast
I wear glasses I dont want them to break
Kinda a pacifist when not angry

5' 4"
95 lbs.
Styles: Modified okanawan Sheri Ru. Quick, strong for my weight punches and kicks.
Strength: Getting hurt is something i strangely become immune to in a fight if I get angry. When not in anger,I can keep focused and accurate.
Weakness: When I'm angry, I have a slower reaction time and slow down a lot. Not always accurate for opponet's weak spots, such as chest or stomach.

I don't know why when I get angry, I don't feel any pain. I feel it though in about an hour.

Height: 6'0
Weight: 185
Fighting Style: Tae-Kwon-Do, Street fighting, boxing
Strentghs: Determiantion, stamina, raw power, reflexes, long reach, evasion, quick thinking, very focused and clear minded.
Weakness: Never gives up, even in a hopeless situauation.

I like to blend my styles, they work very well together when executed in a combo. The people who i train with see me as a very well rounded fighter, and they enjoy sparring with me for a good compition. they say that i don't know when to give up, but i usually can handle with what i'm up against.

height: 5'10
Weight: 145
Fighting Style: street fighting, taw-kwon-do

strengths: speed, motivation, evasion, able to take a beating before giving in, tacticful

Weakness: situations where someone im not fighting whom im protecting or dont want to get hurt gets envolved.

special: mostly 1 for 1, i let you hit, which leaves you open, and then focus an attack on your most vulerable part.

i usually like to use combos or "specials", mostly cheap by standards, but hey whatever goes goes. not much power in my punches, but i like mobility and being able to dodge and then counter.

Height: 5'11

Weight: 190

Fighting Styles: Tae Kwon Do (waste of time), street fighting, limited grappling

Strengths: dirty fighter, reaction > thinking, knowledge of common ungaurded spots/pressure points, not going to bother trying to kick above the belt. Im also always being underestimated

and of course, the priceless knowledge that 99 times out of a hundred, kicking somebody in the crotch in the middle of a fight is a waste of your own energy

Weaknesses: lack of stamina / punching speed (but that's what elbows are for)

True dat. Adrenaline masks even the most excrutiating types of pain. They'll feel it after it's all over, though ^^.
