Wo0w this morning i saw 2 stars of the NFL swap uniforms....
25 year old 2 time pro bowler Cham Bailey and Former Rooklie of the year and one of the leagues premire running backs of the league.... 22 year old Clinton portis....

so did either team get the raw end of the deal?

Well, now the broncos need a running back,with mike anderson running,the team wll go to the air,but clint portis is a good running back,he shoulda said in denver and i now the redskins are gonna be a strong team missing champ bailey but havinglavar aarington,now brunell,coles and portis,there gonna be a tought team,but with the broncos missing portis is gonan hurt them big

i don't know about this trade.. i mean portis is the man and he is still young.. he still has a lot for him but maybe Denver feels confident without him... we wll see

When I first heard about this, I thought that the Redskins where getting a much better deal because Portis is a great running back and he's young. But after thinking it through, the trade is beneficial for both teams. The Redskins need a running back. The Broncos need a shut-down cornerback. The Broncos got picked apart by Peyton Manning and the Colts in the playoffs. The Redskins also have Fred Smoot, so they can afford to lose Bailey. Mike Anderson and Olandis Gary ran for over 1,000 yards under the Broncos system. Quentin Griffin will do the some thing. He has talent.

Gary was released by the broncos last season and was given the 3rd spot in the bills backfield...

but fed smoot has no hype on him..... while bailey is only now given the name "Best Shut down CB in the league"
Redskins have a chance at a 8-8 record this year...... they need to stop over paying players and pay a gy what hes worth....

at 23 portis is a product of the broncos system.... next season he could be a bust? but i dbout......If Snyder has any balls left he'll take soem cap penealties and go for kearse and sapp..... just imagine a defense of arrinton,kearse,sapp..... thats a beauty :)

well the freak stays in philly,and hopefully sapp can go to the redskins,but sapp will most likely stay in tb, and i dont think an 8-8 record for the redskins is accurate,they play in a tough division with phillies as the favorite,but what the redskins have is lavar,brunell,portis,gardner,coles, what i think they need to improve is they're o-line, that is what put ramsey away and made him play horrible, if they can get an o-line,redskins have a chance at 11-5 10-6 record
