Chrono Trigger

Has anybody ever played this game? I'm not a big video game fan and all I own is a GBA and I might buy a PSP in the future, but this happens to be my favorite game despite how old it is.

Anyone else think they should make a GBA version of this game, or revive it into another console?

Why? It wasnt that good of a game, in fact it's pretty bad. PS has Chrono Cross, which is much better. Just play that.

yeah, the one for PS is better..MUCH better if they made it for GBA it would be the same thing...but smaller and stuff liek that >.>

are u kidding me, the ps1 version wasn't anything cxompared to chrono trigger, all it had was graphic appeal, and new features that were inaccesible due to the technology back in 95'. and BTW chrono trigger was released for the ps1, it was in final fantasy chronicles, it came wit ff4/2, and chrono tirgger.

Anyway, I love Chrono Trigger, it was a masterful game with such a rich and dynamic plot that kept moving in and changing with lovable characters. Frog and Magus are both some of my favorite video game characters ever. Chrono Cross was great as well but I wouldn't say it's "better" than Chrono Trigger. I got one of the new PSones with an LCD screen recently and bought "Final Fantasy Chronicles". I'd only played the graphically inferior ROM before and I'm absolutely loving this. It has cutscenes that, while scarce at first and not really fitting well into the gameplay, are nonetheless beautiful. The only annoyance is the loading time, otherwise I highly recommend it.

Chrono Trigger is awsome, and there is already two versions. Thats enough. I personally thought the battle system in Chrono Cross was kinda crappy. I liked Trigger's better, eventhoug it was kina bland. Oh, I heard that SquareEnix is making a third one.

i have chrono trigger on SNES wahaha, its a fun game but i dont really play it that much, my older bro is more into it then i am

My friend said the same thing, that SquareEnix is going to make a third one. Chrono Trigger's battle system was cool because of all the dual and triple techs as well as the different attack patterns while Chrono Cross' system was more innovative- One thing I didn't like about Chrono Cross' system was that I couldn't use Techs over. I mean, magic is one thing, but only being able to use X-strike or something once in a battle kind of annoyed me, I guess it was to prevent cheap attack patterns...

I played it on the playstation and got to the final bosses little inside dungeon thing before I couldn't take it, but the first half isn't half bad.
