View Full Version : GameCube to be Bundled with Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes

Nintendo has announced that a special "Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes Premium Package" will be offered along with the launch of the title on March 11, 2004 in Japan.
The "Premium Package" GameCube comes in a special silver color, and has the "Fox Hound" mark on the opaque black CD cover glass on the top of the console. The bundle pack not only comes with Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, but also comes with the original NES Metal Gear (playable on the GameCube), a disc containing special photages of Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, and a 44 page book called "Metal Gear Solid Special Booklet."
"Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes Premium Package" will be sold for 21,000 yen ($198.25).

that is so dumb. like im going to buy a freakin gamecube just so i can get the twin snakes special. screw that, when snake eater comes out im just going to buy that, i dont really expect a WHOLE ton from twin snakes, its basically metal gear solid redone is it not? nothing is worth buying a game cube anyways. gc sux balls.

actually there is alot worth buying on gc like super smash brother melee and sonic adventure 2 oh and lets not forget the zelda titles now those are top notch rpg's

yes, it is just a port of the original, but the original was so freakin awesome and fun i cant wait til twin snakes comes out. improved cut scenes and revamped graphics. what reason is there not to get it? and no more bashing the GC in threads that arent argument threads...
i cant wait, i'll probably preorder the game this weekend and get the bonus' off ebay. less i may wanna get my brother a gc for his bday, i'll give him mine and get the cool one ^_^

Many are saying this is pointless because they already have Gamecubes. Well yes for them, but I think it is just another great thing Nintendo is doing. There is becoming less and less reason not to own a Gamecube if you are interested in any of its games.

That's pretty kool and ever thing but. I think the PS2 should of got Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes. but I cant wait intill MgS 3 Snake Eater

Yep. I would really only buy it for the Fox Hound logo opaqe on it. I love Fox Hound and the La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo. I wish I could have a Fox hound sticker. Im still going to wait for Snake Eater, Im not going to buy it just for that game though. stick to your kiddie games nintendo. :p
