We all know there's alot of Secrets in Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Sold 2. so post your favorite secret in MGS or MGS2.


Well I heard the Fa-Mas was in the tanker has any one found it???

In the Engine room there's a faster rout by hanging on the rope.

Some Guards run away if you equip a bigger gun.

Well, in MGS2 there's a silencer for the AK-74u, and if you press R2 and R1 during Codec conversations you can hear what the characters are thinking.

wats a Fa-Mas?
hmm... i wouldnt consider the following as secrets but....
get grip lvl 3 and go to the holds. climb down one ladder but then hang on the ledge on the middle leven and u can climb across (be careful of the guard at the end).
another one:
get to the holds. get to the bottom floor and go to the west side of the room. u can open a hatch thing and climb down and crawl under the ppl (becareful along the way... heh, heh, heh...)

Edit: MAN, there's this one. in the tanker get to the storage room type of place where all the food is and stuff (before u get to the command deck thing). if u shoot at a certain area in a box, u explode as if u shot a SEMTEX.
i was playing around one day, shooting all the stuff in that room, making sure everything was broken. then i was about to get the last item and then i accidentally missed and all of a sudden i exploded and "GAME OVER". i tried it a few times again to test my theory and it worked.

The posters of scantily clad Asian women hidden throughout the tanker on MGS2 :). And I thought it was pretty funny how some guards talk shit if you try to hold 'em up with the tranq gun but if you hold 'em up with a stinger missile launcher they give up anything they have, no questions asked.

The Fa-Mas was the only Assault Rifle in Metal Gear Solid.

I have seen pics of Snake using it in the Tanker and I saw it on a flash back with Raiden.

If you turn your PS2 upside down at a certain point during loading you get to start off with the samurai sword....but don't take my word for it, just something I heard.

Oh, and if you snap the MGS2 disc in half you won't be able to play it.

First off, the Fa-mas rumor was a fake, it is impossible to get it in the game.

Second off, the rumor that if you turn your PS2 upside down you'll get the sword? What would make it different? Croc of shit if you ask me.

Third hand, yes, the rumor IS true that if you snap your game disc in half you get to play as the naked Sniper Wolf from MGS1.

It is a fake, I assure you. The pictures were taking during the programming of the game, and to make it look like pretty good pictures. The only assault rifles in the game are the M4 and the AK74-U. No Fa-Mas whatsoever.

In the game, it says that Sniper Wolf will wait out from a vantage point for days until she gets her prey. Well when you fight her in MGS for the second time, I heard that if you leave your game on for 72 hours, she will just go away, and you can walk by.

Also, anybody know if you can escape with Merryl alive if you kill Liquid fast? My neighbor told me that, not sure if it's true though.

I think the turning upside down thing is a load of crap, but loads of ppl keep going on about it.

for the zoe thing... u mean the box that u can go under? (i think the box number was 5)

there's also a very noticeable poster in the shell one core in the computer room. i think it said "policenauts" on it. that's one of hideo kojima's games.
also, u can attach c4's to enemies (which is really fun... heh, heh, heh...)
