What do yall think about a xbox or a gamecube

what do yall think about a gamecube......because for vietnamese and chinese new year i had a lot of money from my relatives and im plannin to get a gamecube but i wanted to check wut yall think about it first..........i want a xbox to but i also hate it i want it for ddr ultramix and i hate it because they hav it for xbox,thats the only reason y i like xbox.

If you have a bunch of little siblings or friends who like to play videogames too, then you should get an X-Box. Games like DDR and Halo make the X-Box a really good multiplayer system.

If you're gonna be playing by yourself, then get a Gamecube.

yea but an xbox is too violent and all i want is ddr ultramix and gamecube has final fantasy crystal cronicals and double dash and dont forget ZELDA all classic games and Soul calibur II has Zelda xbox is coo to because of counter strike halo halo II(delayed) and ddr ultramix but u hav to pay online to play

Or (if you don't already have one) you can get PS2 with its superior-in-every-possible-way game lineup and get damn near anything you want, or something very similar. Plus PS2 has more good games (that are exclusive to it) than XBox and GCN combined. And why would you wanna go for Zelda: WindWaker? The Zelda series hasn't been good since A Link to the Past on SNES. Sure, OoT on N64 was fun for a while but it got REAL repetitive REAL fast. Although if you're looking for nonviolent then I guess you better go with GCN, cuz majority of PS2's good games are aimed at the late teen-early adult audience and are pretty damn violent and/or contain "inappropriate" language and sexual references. Really, I guess, the only good games that aren't ultraviolent that you can get on PS2 are the fighters (fighters aren't NEAR as violent as other games like GTA, a little bit of punching and kicking doesn't really qualify as "violent" IMO) and the RPGs. Most Action/Adventure/Platformer games are gonna be pretty gory, as will be the stealth fighting (Tenchu, Metal Gear Solid, and ugh hate to mention it but Splinter Cell) and the FPS, although I wouldn't recommend ANY FPS on a console, because you can't really capture the FPS experience without a mouse, a keyboard, and a user interface specifically designed for a mouse and keyboard.

i would get a xbox just because of its online capabilties but if u wanna get more games for when u buy it i would go with game cube cause i thnk the price droped to $99.99 its a rough descion tho
if u like violent games go with xbox if u like more if u like mroe on the cartoony (yet fun games) go with gamecube
o and slipknot the only reason ps2 has more games because its been around longer and i dont think the games are better ps2 has betetr rpgs and maybe fighting games but not as good first person shooters as xbox and not as good multiplayer games like gamecube and it doesnt have as good online capabilites as xbox i can go on and on with stuff ps2 doesnt have cause its older than xbox and gamecube

i know this wont swat you much toward xbox, but when i plyed jet set radio future on it, man i fell in love with that game. Also, xbox has unreal championship. if you dont have a dvd player, an xbox would help also

I noe everyone has a ps2. i do..................it's also not known for best rpgs it is also nown as the best fighter games too such as Marvel Vs. Capcom2. And beside i think a nintendo been out longer than a playstation.

get either the gcn or ps2 because they have more games for their systems than the xbox. xbox games are BORING they are mostly in two categories war and more war. they never come up with anything new or exciting it just a bunch of stupid war games

Naruto, I say, check out which systems has the most titles you want. From the games you listed that you wanted, I say don't go with Xbox. Xbox doesn't have too many titles that I think would interest you.(Except maybe Shenmue II). Keep Xbox in mind though. Seriously, look into the titles you want, see which system would fit you more. And.. don't let online capabilities get in the way, unless you like online gaming.

Very very true.. I do agree. The only games I want that are on Xbox are SC2, just to play with Spawn, Panzer Dragoon Orta, DOA3, and Shenmue II, which I'll have to get imported, for my dreamcast.

Online capabilities mean jackshit, especially when most of the people you'll find online still suck at games and you'd have more of a challenge against CPU controlled opponents.
And XBox's only violent games are the ones that are the same damn shit over and over again, like someone else already said.
No, PS2's only reason for having games ISN'T because it's been around longer. PS2 was out in America for a year before XBox and Gamecube came out and PS2 STILL has a game library about double the size of either other system (and that's NOT counting all the games on PSOne that you can still play on a PS2). It's called having the good companies on board, buddy. When PS2 came out all the companies that worked with Sony on PSOne almost immediately jumped on the bandwagon (Konami, Square, Namco, and Capcom to name a few). And PS2 still usually gets the good games from these companies before or at the same time as XBox or GCN (assuming XBox and GCN DO get those games). Plus the amount of good EXCLUSIVE games on PS2 is bigger than the number of good games in general (exclusive or otherwise) on XBox and GCN COMBINED. Plus you only said RPG, FPS, and fighting games. What about the genre that basically launched video games to the level they're at today: the action/adventure/platformer genre? You know, that OTHER genre where PS2 has XBox beat out. And XBox can have sports games, I don't give a damn about NFL/NBA/Hocker/Soccer games, screw 'em all. Plus XBox isn't the best for FPS, because FPS on console suck, PC is where you pretty much HAVE to go if you want to play a GOOD FPS. So put that in your pipe and smoke it. Anyways, I'd say GCN over XBox probably. Because if you like RPGs and you already have a PS2 XBox is getting FFCC (although I've heard CC is gonna be more like an action/adventure than a RPG).

well......True Crimes is exactly like all the other console.But True Crimes for Xbox has a weird controls................So i thought long and hard today i plan to get a Gamecube because Xbox is like the biggest machine ever and it's not good for traveling and xbox is good if u dont hav a computer and i hav 5 computers and a laptop so im gettin a gamecube..if u think about gamecube is good for traveling because it is small and u can hook up a gameboy advance to it and i hav 3 gba and an sp...........And when i get final fantasy crystal cronicals my friends can come over and play it with me and the memory card arent expensive as xbox or ps2 and the controller are cheaper too.So you save money on a gamecube than an xbox.

Ok why would you get gc? Yeah it has FFCC but that will probably end up on ps2. Don't count xbox out tho. It dose have good games. Ever tried the new Star Wars: Jedi Academy? Its a good game. Plus xbobx is gonna come out with Ninja Gaden soon. Still, you should stay wit the ps2 and buy more games for it. Ps2 owns. Next to ps2, xbox is 2nd. Plus, the only thing that I liked for gc was Vetiful Joe and that is comming out for ps2 soon. (Hey I don't even have an xbox, but since you have ps2, and you want a new system, go with the xbox. Don't be dumb)

buy the gamecube. its controler is SOOO much easier to use and some of the games are better. stragty and rpg/adventure. x-box has more viloent games but some of them are good.

I'd get Xbox because it has the online thingy and the controllers aren't so complicated. the gamecube does have good games but, Iwouldn't spend $ on it. Sorry for those that love it

X-box cause i have a xbox and its green ooooooh.... it has awesome games but ive always seen dat Games dat come out in Xbox always goesto PC i mean ive heard that True crimes was only for the X-box since we had GTA but we got True crimesfor ps2
