Anyone like afi. There my favorite non japanese band. I liek there older music alot more there new cd's suck compared to the older ones.

yea i like a couple of their old songs but the only song off Sing the Sorrow i like is the Leaving Song.....not the 2nd one, the 1st one.....like the second to last song on the cd.....

im a pretty big fan of davey havok, and their guitarists hair rules too,, i know ill prolly get flamed for this, but i think theyre a pretty original band and have a fairly unique sound to them..it sickened me though to see in revolver mag that the st. anger got more rotation and was rated better there at their office than the AFI cd,,sad sad

AFI sucks now. Only stuff I can even slightly enjoy is their REALLY old ****, from when they were straight up punk rock. i also like their song....**** i forgot the title, it was really long and ridiculous. the song is like 30 seconds long and most of the lyrics are "I will die screaming" and then one part they change it up with "scream my last breath, in useless anguish, tear the sun from the sky" or something along those lines haha.

Technically it is slim to none. The main question is; don't you want to make a lot of money for something that you are good at? Or make a lot of money period?

Of couse you do. People are so motherf.ucking greedy these days, they will do anything to get what they want. Everyone does this, no matter how small or how big the prize at the end is.

Other than all of this rambling of mine. I like their old stuff better anyway.

Well there is NOFX, who are ridiculously big considering they have never appeared on mtv or the radio.
And there are also many bands that are famous, just not mtv famous, but i consider any band to be internationally, or even nationally popular to be famous, and there are many bands that fit that bill.
And not every band wants to make it big. there are many bands who prefer to stay underground, such as Choking Victim, and all bands that sprouted off of their break up, Daycare Swindlers, 1905, Books Lie, Zegota, and many others.

Woo.. I just found out I'm going to go se them along with Thursday and Coheed and Cambria. March 8th. That's a little whiles away, and my dad bought the ticekts yesterday.(He drove an hour and a half to get them.. weirdo. Then I come home and he surprises me with them.) I'm trying to see if any of my friends would want to come(So far 2 are really considering it. one freaked out on me when I asked her, since she's the one that was obsessed with them), since he'd take them as long as they paid for their ticket. O.K. Enough of my useless babbling, and onto more Jade and Davey fanfics!

EDIT: I have a friend who's totally loves them too. He's been to their concert a few times in the past. He said he freaked out when Davey grabbed his hand, and when Davey jumped into the crowd, his feet were on his shoulders. When the kid was telling me of this he was saying how homosexual he felt then, but he said it was great. When he was describing it, he was flailing his arms. Actually.. this guy kinda reminds me of.. Davey. Weirdo. I have many people that agree with me though.
