who here think ffx-2 isd a great game, so far i'm on chapter 2, and so far, its medicore, like i enjoy playing it but some of the things are dumb, and i'm just getting into the whole vegagun thing, so maybe it will get more serious, but what i'm asking, is who here thinks its a great game and why. cause if u do, then u obviously, are a noobie to the ff series!!!:p

FFX-2 sucks, plain and simple. I mean, If you haven't played the others, then i suppose it could be good. BUT if you've played the others, you'll expect much better work from square enix.

No, you would expect better from Square, but you can't expect anything within reasonability from Square-Enix cuz, like I said before, Enix has more clout in the company workings than Square and Enix is run by morons. FFX-2 isn't a bad game, just not as good as the others. It would be a lot better if it didn't have ameri-pop all over it. J Pop isn't all bad, but Ameri-pop ALL sucks. It's plain fúcking horrible. But the game play is fun, the system is semi-original (dress spheres and garment grids original, jobs with individual abilities not original) and you should think of it this way: at least it's not as bad as 8. At least X-2 has a working system, VIII's system sucked homo cóck and loved every damn second of it.

FFX-2 is a sub-standerd game. Add to it the fact that it's supposed to be a final fantasy game, makes it a horrible game. The gameplay really isn't anything new. Except for the clothes system, which is just a waste of time. The story is still shallow. At least as shallow as FFX, if not more.
But I do agree the system is what killed 8. Although I still think 8 was better because at least it had a good story.

FFX2 is kinda boring in the first two chapters ..then they get to the part about vegnagun and it starts to get better...i got FFX2 the other day and im currently on chapter 3 where you fight the dark aeon ixion...and i cant beat him!!! its starting to get annoying......anyway out of 10 i would give it about a 7 or 8

ffx-2 is kinda alright i was really excited when i got it and all...but the music turns me off and after i fianlly got the good ending i really saw no reason too continue on playing it. i have gone back too zoe 2, max payne 2 disgaea and ff9 0_0

FFX-2 is probably a 7 or barely an 8 at best. Most of the downside comes from the seemingly cheesy storyline and characters (although Brother's retardedness always catches me off guard and gets me laughing). I kind of like the dressphere system and the new battle system, although it can be kind of chaotic at times. Seeing the new battle system makes me think of what FF would be like if they incorporated it into their online game.....

Anyways, final word on FF X-2: ok game so far, but most likely to irritate the shit out of 70% of you before you get a chance to see the rest of it.

i hate ffx-2's music (except a few). i hate its script and gameplay...
but, ffx-2 has a great background story. ive never played the game (watched my brother play it) but i know some of the story.
as for the ending... get 100% on your missions (u cant get 99.9%, has to be exact 100.) to get the "good" ending. i think ffx-2 has a sad story, i like that. (i like sad stuff)
