i havent played manhunt yet, but like the GTA games, and make payne is alright, but ill stick with GTA's for now :cool: how is manhunt?

i guess the best rockstar game i lpayed would have to be GTA Vice City. It beats all the other GTAs

GTA3 is the best game Rockstar's made to date. Sure, VC improved on it (slightly) but GTA3 is the game that changed the way the game worked. Sure, the 2D PSOne GTA and GTA2/London 1969 were violent, but GTA3 put it in 3D and made it realistic and the carnage you could create in a reasonably realistic environment was unheard of. It was both a revolution and a revelation.

The only game I've played out of those are GTA3 and VC. Between the 2 i'd say VC.

well from what I have played, Vice City. But Manhunt looks pretty sick. and also MC II is sick 2

well ive only really played GTA 3, which i only just got recently :((but i played it a WHILE back). let me tell you, that is one good game :cool:

as for the other games, im currently looking at vice city and manhunt, which both look sweet.

but from what ive read pretty much all of rockstars games are excellent :)

I pick GTAIII
Pro: The man has a reason to kill and the storyline. Better than VC IMO.
Con: Not much air/water vehicles

GTA : VC
Pro: It is really good for oldschool gamer's childhood stuff. But most importantly, extended more vehicles.
Con: Storyline had nothing to do with the previous GTA series.

Manhunt
Pro: It's freakin' gore, pretty cool how it's connected to the GTA World (Carcer City, listen to LIPS 106 in Liberty City game)
Con: None so far

Midnight Club
Pro: You get to tune cars.
Con: You don't get that much variety.

Midnight Club II
Pro: You get much variety
Con: You can't tune your favorite car

Oni
Pro: It's on an Animé layout
Con: Not much extra stuff to keep me busy

UGh Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was terrible. I dont care if they have hellicopters and motorcycles. I still hated it. The AI was terrible and they seem to always know where you were. I liked GTA3 far more. The other game that I did like was Max Payne 2. It was a great FPS. Probably better then GTA:VC by my accounts. I havent played Man Hunt yet though, it looks pretty original too. Its a rental in my books until I get some reviews on it.

Anyways, the GTA games are fun and all, but I have to say that I enjoy the Max Payne games just a little more..for some strange reason. Maybe its because I like how it has a deeper plot. While they may not keep me entertained for very long, they do keep me entertained well in the time I'm playing them.

What makes me mad are the kids in my school who say GTAVC is better than GTAIII when they never even bothered to play GTAIII. Not like there's something wrong with this thread, but I hate people saying it sucks when you didn't even try playing.

Max Payne 1 was great, I love that game, but the conversion of Max Payne 2 onto the playstation was p1ss poor. What were they playing at? Shame on you Finland, shame on you.

Max Payne cause it has a dark grim storyline and the first level where you walk in to see your dead baby crying ughh. And the level where your goin nuts and you have to follow the trail of blood to another view of the dead baby

well i played Max Payne 2 Today and i have noticed... How to do that Spinning Thing from the Max Payne 2 Trailer... Doesnt the Spinning Reload Thing sweet.. its tight U Spin in Slow motion while reloading . heh
