are you serious? I beat that game in 37 hours the first time around. With all the side questing and segment addresses and card game playing and crap, it only took about 50 hours

longest game I played was FFX I think...bout 100 hours worth

Monster Rancher, the first one. I've been playing the same game for six years. Then my bro deleated it. I just bought 4 though. You guys took too long to beat ffx. It took me only 25 hours with most of the final weapons and all of the summons.

I played FFVII for 150hrs plus before i beat it.. I spent some time lvling up my chars and materia (sp?) I also spent wayyyyy to much time breeding some chocobos :D and playing in the game center.. never did beat Ruby/Emerald Weps.. as if its even possible ;) haha

hm, final fantasy 7, 8, and 10. 8 just because the last boss was so damn hard and i had to keep trying over till i got all my good party members(squall, zell, and selphie), and i gave up on it for a little while. 7 was just a long and challenging all the while incredible game, and it had lots to do and a huge map :) and 10.....well i had problems leveling up cuz of the wierd leveling system, and there were a billion cutscenes(but it was still a pretty good game, i liked it :)) so yea.

but my first game - links awakening (zelda, game boy, released about 1993, recived about 1998-99) i couldnt beat for about 2 years! first, i really didnt play it for a while and the fact that i hadnt played a zelda game. but now, i regard it as one of the best handheld action/adventure games ever!

Well, ive been playing an RPG called Thousand Arms. SO far ve got about 6o hours racked up there, but i stopped playing for about 5 months and Ive just now gotten back to playing it, so my time should get larger soon ^^

Other than that, I've got 2 different save files for FF7, each showing the maximum amount of hours (99:59). But i think they both have over 130 hours on em. I played it too long back then ^_^

whoever has ff9 as their longest game u guys suck, i beat that in less then 12 hours, cause i wanted to get that excalibur 2 which u could only get if u best the gasme in 12 hours, but the longest game for me, was........... ff8, cause there were some parts that got fustrating, perferably fights that required quitis, selphie, or irvine cause i rarely ever used them and they wer elike on 17 and stuff when everyone else was on 40 and stuff,. so i got set back,
then when when i got to ultimactia, she is the boss where she randomly selects 3 of ur parties members to fight, and i kept getting selphie or quitis or irvine no matter what
i remember squall was on level 58, and selphie was on level 29 lol

You were probably leveling up in the wrong places...the best place to level in FFVII was the promised land (north lands, crater, whatever the hell you wanna call it), wandering around fighting high ass level monsters. I got my characters to level 99 in no time (or maybe it just seemed like it cuz I was also trying to master my Mime and KotR materias 3 times, cuz I needed 3 masters of each to attempt ruby and emmy, and that took long enough for me to have been at level TWO hundred if it was possible). But FFVII was my longest game because of breeding a gold chocobo, spending time duping items with w-item to get 99 of all the good items (goddamn your fingers get into a rhythm with that eventually, you're just like O, X, O, X, O, X, O, X, O, X really fast, over and over), getting Omnislash, and mastering KotR and Mime 3 times over so that I'd have three of them, (and for any idiot wondering how you master 3 of materia that you only get one of, you haven't played FFVII in a while, when you master a materia it creates a new, level one version of itself). So I had 100+ hours in it overall I believe. You guys took FOREVER on FFX, I blew through that game like nothin'. I stopped after a while cuz I didn't think my characters were high enough level to fight Sin and I was too lazy to level them at the time, but when I started again I went right to Sin and kicked his ass, fought Jecht as Braska's Final Aeon and got my ass kicked then came back and wtfpwned him, and then told Yu Yevon to suck it. Without doing the power leveling I thought I would have to do, roflmfao.

It took me about a year (on and off) to beat Final Fantasy VI when I was about 9, but I just played it recently and breezed through it in about six hours.

Anyway, longest game (that I didn't stop playing for months at a time) would be Halo on Legendary. Holy god that game is not fun. I'm not sure how long it took me to do it, but I finally got it done, f.ucking Flood bastards.

FFVII in one sitting (well, for the most part anyway) ...hahaha...Trust me...don't do it. It was pretty recent I think it took me at least 3 days at the minimum...It was over winter break...and after saying this all out loud, my self-esteem has hit rock bottom.

FFX...I only put 18 hours into it...I just wanted to break the HP and Damage limits.

FFIX I think I have at least 30 hours or so just training and card games plus the Chocobo Hot and Cold mini-game.

FFVIII...I didn't put much effort into it...I didn't beat it yet...I have 15 hours or something.

oh gosh.. this HAS to be my most longest game...

it was Bomberman 64.. took me about 80 hours my first play through to get all 120 gold cards (i was 10 with no strat guide)

now that im older...

i beat ffx with everything clear in around 40 hours
i beat xenosaga with all chars level 72 and up everything found in around 38 hours
i beat darkcloud2 with all ultimate weapons for both characters all photos taken all inventions made in around 36 hours
i beat Kingdom Hearts level 100 all magic attained all dalmations found all bosses beated in roughly 32 hours
