I just called up Mr.John Louie (the creator of digimon). He said that they are working on season 5 right now. The show will be released next summer. There will be new characters, new worlds, new boost cards, new digimon, and more! He said that Digimon Force: 3 was supposed to be season 4, not season 5. It was because when the first episode reached Japan, no one liked it and he didn't have many producers helping him. But since season 4 became a big hit, more producers applied to help make Digimon Force: 3. It's showing in Japan right now but I'm not sure of the channel. The company is currently translating the whole show to English and is not far right now. The show is estimated to be about 124 episodes.

I used to watch Digimon, but I don't really anymore. It was too darn confusing and I only watched it in the summer, when nothing good was on >.< sorry if you consider this a flame, but yeah. :stickout: :cheers:

Hmm.. after the second season I was through. I didn't like all the stuff in the third, and people turning into the digimon themselves didn't amuse me much. It kind of made it look stupid. I do say some digimon are just too cool looking. I LOVE the angels.. oh and did you guys know this? Serephenmon(Angel after magniangemon). Serephen is the highest ranking angel, and it's the last form. I thought that was kinda cool.

Hmm i stopped liking digimon after the first season 1 then again this new season could change my m..... most likely not *doesnt have time for it* hopefully its as good as the first season or better.

Digimon was cool, but by the 3 season it got too complicated, i u missed one day the next day u watched it u didn't no wut the frig was happening.

Yeah. I loved it during season 1 and two, but now it's all confusing and card-ish. I hope they don't come out with any more.

The first and second seasons were good, the third was the worst, the fourth was alright, and I'm hoping the fifth wont dissapoint me as much as the third one did. The cards never really appealed to me, so i never really got any of them. Some of the digimon cards were cool looking, but most were just plain boring. The card game itself never really had a good battle system, so i never really considered it a card game, more of a baseball-type card game (i.e. cant play with em, only collect em). Of course, this is all IMO, so i dont really think this is a flame.

i actually liked digimon, at least it was a step up from pokemon. one of those worthless kind of shows you like for completely mindless entertainment, got kind of bored with it after numerous movies and way too many seasons though.

Digimon season 1 had a lot deeper meaning than your average anime. Plus, some of the digimon looked super cool. I like Wargreymon. They also didn't have a happy ending, because the digimon couldn't stay with the kiddies. Season 2 just completely ruined this.

I don't think it sucked, especially the first season. And maybe a bit of the second season. I just thought alot of the meaning was lost when it was dubbed. For example, Didn't they say that Takeru and Yamato were "stepbrothers"? While in reality (hah), their parents were divorced. Kind of explains why Yamato has that overprotective problem and such. But yeah...Digimon>Pokemon.

i agree but only for the reason that Digimon sticks to a linear story line with each ep. connecting each other whereas pokemon does some random adventure. there's nothing to make you hooked and wanna see what happens next with pokemon b/c you could simply miss one ep. or a couple and never get lost because it's not really linear. that's why i stopped watching pokemon...b/c it just got boring.

Digimon is way better than Pokemon cuz digimon has a forward story but pokemon seems to always do the same thing (team rocket blasts off again) and everyone is happy and stuff. Those crooks always come and the stupid kids always win. I'm so bored.

I totally agree with you on this perception of the two animes. To be honest, I DO HATE TO WATCH POKEMON most of the time... It is because the same thing always happens in every episode... There is no forward plot to it... Just a bunch of stupid kids ending up doing the same thing over and over again... That is what I dislike it in the first place... DIGIMON is the way to go... I am a huge fan of it since day 1 and will always be... Thanks for your perception of Pokemon and Digimon... Now I got it all off of my chest and all... Have agreat day now...

Digimon rocked. The first season blew my mind because it was so different from pokemon.
Pikachu, teh awwww.... cuteness evolves into Raichu, still cuteness. Tentomon, the funny bug, turned into giant badass looking Kabuterimon.
And while Ash is still looking for his sixth badge between filler episodes, the digi-destined kids where going through emotional breakthroughs.
Plus Digimon ended... Ash's voice just now broke.

Season 2 started off pretty crappy, but got better towards the end. Season 3 blew big time and Season 4 was only shown on Jetix, a Toon Disney version of Toonami. I get toon disney now so I hope to see Season 5 soon!

fith season is called digimon savers. I seen the japaneese version. It was pretty cool. Maincharacter meeting his digimon was hilarious. but digivice blew. (not spoiling it) If you want to see it just go to youtube you wont be dissapointed. It still didnt compare to season 1 and 3 though but its worth a watch.
