^_^ hell ya, i wanna see it... not for legolas (though he's hellllla cute).... but just for the story. before, i couldn't stand to watch epic movies... but for LOTR 2, i watched the 10 pm preview and walked out the movie doors at 2 am.... hahaha... love the story. love the movie.

but you have to admit, he makes the movie better. ^_^ i wouldn't still loved the epic, just like i love star wars (actually i prefer star wars, lotr is still good though ^_^), but legolas... adds to how much i like lotr.

Its the first thing on my list to do after my exams are over. Seriously, this movie is a DEFINITE MUST-SEE! If you don't see any movies for the rest of the year, this is the movie you have to see. Amazing. Simply amazing. I was dissapointed that they left out some major things from the book, but nonetheless, it was one of the best, if not, THE best, movie I've ever seen. Like Rikku said, "Watch it! NOW. GO!!!".

i watched it on the first day, but i wouldn't really call it that because the primere was the day before, and i couldn't go because i had finals. but other than that, i watched it the first day, December 17th 2003. it was good actually, and i think it's more enjoyable when you watch all three movies in consecutive order all at once, even though the thrid movie is 3 hours 30 minutes, and altogether it would probably be around the 8 hour mark, unless you get the extended versions and it just might hit 9-10 hours. but i think it's so good you might not be keeping track of the time if you're a big fantasy/action fan. i wouldn't say it's an epic, but it's more emotionally strong than thrashingly physical like star wars. but it's still enjoyable, and if you didn't watch it yet, hit the theaters.

i'm pretty sure warcraft copied lord of the rings. the book was out before the game, and the ents were originally tolkien's idea.

That reminds me the 2nd time I watched it. I whispered to my friend and said, "Whoa! That 5hit was crazy when...", then some fat guy who took 2 seats on front of me was like "Shh! Shh!" like he was my father or whatever. So I kicked the back of his chair.

Pretty funny how the audience were watching us arguing while they missed the whole clock spider scene.

omg dude i dont care what anyone says about lord of the rings.. peter jackson made those movies come to life..so many other directors tried to pull those movies off and hes the only sucessful one..and the two towers..omfg..nothin but respect..the greates movie i haave eve seen .. very nice..the movie was like 4 hourse but you dont even really notcie the time fly by becausse you get so into it..

The movie was okay, but with all the cuts from the book taken, it could have been way better. Like at the very end, there was a big shire skirmish where the hobbits all go fight Sarumon right after he takes over the Shire and turns the Shirlings into slaves. Thats when Frodo's group must save the say and wormtounge betrays Sarumon. So they should have done more. Otherwise it was okay. I still liked the Two Towers better.
