Just wonderin. i play a lot. you might know this from some of my previous posts, but in school at the end of the day me and my friends always play ladder in a group. sometimes we play 1 2 3 peg and sometimes we just kick it around. and now our teacher plays with us everyday

well if you keep practicin you can get pretty good. two of my friends that i play with had like no experience before we started but now they're pretty good :cool:

This was done in the Sports section before. But, I don't care...

I used to play hacky sack. I used to play an "extreme" verison of hacky sack with my old friends. It would be basically be the same thing as hacky sack...except with rocks...:D

hehe, we used to ahve this little club, where like 4 or so of us would play, and we would play during lunch, and sometimes get teachers to join in, it was cool :)

ooh sorry i didnt know :( but yea, ive tried with rocks before. If your good at playing hacky sack with rocks, then you must be God. and to anyone whos gonna post: whats your record? mines 21, it was with one of my not so good ones but still, thats pretty good for me:) my brother got up into the 200's, so he says, but hes really good. also, can you do any tricks? my brother does this thing called a jester, its real cool looking if you can pull it off right, but its hard. im tryin to get it down but im havin no luck.

Ha, u think a "jester" is hard, try an "pendulm" into an "over the top jester." i can do it, once u get it, its awesome.

Heheh, I love playing hacky sack....We've (Me, Dan, Pete, Dave) been trying to persuade our principal for our own hacky sack league, but it's not official but we are 4/0 so far.

We also use apples and anything we can find at the lunch area...we turned some peanuts to peanut butter once...ah, good times. Like you Dark, our teacher has been dragged into the cesspool of the 'hace ace' and he's pretty damn good.

Tricks:
'Jester' ( The group prefers calling it something else...but yeah. )

It's pretty easy if you know the basics of hacky sack, if you are able to shift your movement at any time, you'll get it.

hacky-sack is fun! i play it sometimes whenever someone brings a ball. im not that good at it but im getting better at it. last year was fun becuz on our environmental ed trip we always played hackey sack at the back side of the cabin every morning :D

its long since fell apart. we used to do it every thursday after school for a couple hours. til we started getting kicked out because it wasnt an official afterschool activity blah blah. there are some fun times with that too, like getting chased offa the property, so we went in the middle of the road beside the school, and somehow they kicked us off a state road, since ya know, they own it? threatened to write us all up...and 3 werent even in school anymore...hehe...

it just takes practice man, once you get down the timing, and your balance, that will open the door to new tricks, etc.

over the top jester: its like a regular jester, but alittle different. Say you are gonna do a jester, and hit the hack w/ your right foot. Well, in an over-the-top, your left leg goes over the hack right before your right foot kicks it. Its hard at first, but once you get the timing down, its not too bad.

pendulm: in this trick you try to catch the hack on the top of your shoe, the toe area, and you bring your leg around in a circle, witht he hack stayin on ur shoe through centrifical force, and when it gets back around, you just pop the hack up, and then kick it however want to.

hehe In our little group, we would have our own moves that we would call "specials" and to get into the group, you would have to do everyone elses special moves. We would also try to use our surroundings, stall it on the wall, on our hats, under our chins, in our mouths (never again, hehe), kick it off the wall, trees, you name it.

haha, mmmm....i loved tricks like that, lil unique stalls...we had the "sack to sack" stall, not that had to pull off, but ya gotta me male...then there was the boob stall...then there was us getting 2 sacks stuck on the roof outside the back door...the costodians had to get em down for us ^_^

i like hitting it off my head whenever it comes up that way. im still trying to understand the over the top jester but the pendulum sounds pretty hard. if i ever master the jester ima go for it. and im gonna see if my brother can do one.

I hack occassionally, when I can find my damn sack. I have a low record, probably like 5-10, but I can jester. Best way to practice that is to watch someone do it a few times, then try it yourself, by dropping the hack onto the foot you're jestering with. or rather where that foot is going to go. :-D

Haha, yea we got a few stuck on the roof at HS when i went there. Also, once when I was sleepin over at a friends, we were hacking in his kitchen, and the hack went into a glass of ice tea :lol: :lol: it was mad funny, cuz out of all the places it couldve landed, it landed right inthe glass.

holy crap how did you get it on the roof!? youd have to be like super super hackin... but yea the other day i was playin in my kitchen in my bare feet and i kicked it into my garbage bag, another time i was playing i kicked it into my dogs water bowl and it got pretty wet. ooh and there was this time at scout camp(i wasnt as good then) when i kicked it into a big patch of poison ivy*gasp* i didnt get any of it, but i wiped it on this kids face and he had poison ivy all over his face. man it was funny!

Hahahah, thats pretty funny. Do you guys take beads out of the hack? We take a bunch out. Sometimes the hole gets too big, and the beads start flyin out, and we need to pick em back up and put them back in, and sometimes we have to use small rocks instead haha. This one time, we had to wedge a rock in the hole cuz it was so big, and nothin else fit. We've also had pennys in the hack before, tahts how big the hole was. ;) hahaha

yea, its called bleeding the hacky sack. my brother tought me you should usually take out around half of the beads. ive only blead one so far and i didnt quite take out enough but ive been using that one at school so it will get broken in and when it is it will be really good. but they sell hacky sacks at pacific sunwear with the beeds already taken out. i bought one from there and we got it broken in and the thing is incredible! do you have one thats tiny and says world footbag association on it? i have one, its real small but it comes with the right amount of beads in it and its made of this stuff that makes it so you dont really have to break it in.

ugh it sucked so bad. yesterday i forgot my hacky sack when i went to school so i ad to settle for a rock :cry: but luckily after only a few minutes of time with the rock my friend busted out a hacky sack he had. it wasnt the greatest thing but it was decent and the beeds were like little balls o.O

Haha, i've used those before, so I know what thats like. It was good, but thats cuz the material was soft, so it was easy to stall. But I'd rather use a hack with the normal sized beads.

I play hacky sack once a great while. I have a sand filled hacky sack, and it's small. The hacky sack's product name is "Sand Bag." I got it at a smoke shop in Santa Cruz. :D :D :D

Sands not bad. It's good cuz if it gets kinda windy, the wind wont fu.ck w/ the hack. That has happened to a few of my friends and I before, and it was really annoyin, esp when we would try to stall it.

Anyone ever play K.I.L.L? If no-one has, I'll explain it to ya. Bascally you kick it 4 times, and on the 4th time, you kick it at a person, if it hits them, and they dont kick it before it hits the ground, they are out.

Anyway, my friends and I would get into vicious games...haha Like I would kick it like a soccerball at some of them sometimes. :) One of my friends one time, got hit in the nuts, full force...haha

well when we started playing at the beginning of the year in school, my friend literally could only get one, maybe two if he was extremely lucky. but now hes almost as good as me :eek: ALMOST :D and i just got me another new hacky sack from pac sun, this ones my sixth :) but its real cool its black and its got a skull and crossbones on it :cool:

ehh don't worry. All it takes is some practice, balance and eye-foot coordination. :)

i havent hacked in like a year or too, I think i'll bust out my old one over xmas break...;)

oh man this is horrible, i cant play hacky sack for a week! well at school at least. cuz we went on a field trip to this play yesterday and i had a full pocket of rubber bands that i planned on using so i shot a few off :D then its a real long story and i end up confessing at the end of the day(like i said, a REAL long story), so now my parents are pissed at me and i got in-school detention all day today, but worse then that, when i went to school this morning my homebase teacher comes up and says that some rules were put into action, and i have to report directly to homebase, cant go anywhere during homebase(no more bombing lou intrizzles jar for me:cry: ), and i cant do anything in homebase, so i cant play hacky sack! they have ripped my life away from me!!!!:cry: sure i can play at home but its better at school cuz there are other people to play with you too. mr price said im only under hombase arrest for like a week though, so i think i can survive :cry: so sad i know :(

Ehh don't worry about it. Sooner or later you will be able to hack again. :) In the mean time, you could plan a hack club or try to organize something like that. w00t!

I play at home, at lunch, my advisory class, any opportunnity I get, I hack. I am awesome. I know its not much, but i can cat-scratch with the side of my foot. Then there is the handstand serve where i get the sack in between my feet, go up on my hands, and serve it to the person across from me. But that's it. I love playing hackey sack, its so friggin fun

For me, hacking is one of those "only while I'm stoned" activities, cuz I suck so bad that that's the only time I'm not uber-embarassed to suck so bad at anything. Plus I'm better while stoned than I am while not stoned.
BTW anyone know how the Hell Dark Spawn got banned? I don't remember ever seeing him spam or harass anyone. WTF is up with that?
