i don't think he wanted this post to be a bunch of thankyous and good jobs.. i think we need to start posting and i guess i will start!

1) fav FF series is FF Tactics!! (forgotten game but great all around.. playing it right now as we speak AGAIN hehe)
2) fav character is Cloud (from FFT and FFVII) and Squall (FFXIII):wasn't a fan of FFVIII but i loved that character and Cloud is just a classic and i love the pics that are around the internet of him... like the drawings of him!!
3) fav FF moment.. hmm..i am going to have to say ending of FFX: loved that game and the storyline.. the ending was sad but heart filling! hehe :D
4. another moment i love from FF series is when you beat it.. almost like you watched a movie and finally the ending has come to rest! it is a satisfying feeling and if you liked the game so much.. you will watch (play) it again sometime later in life..

I got Sephiroth...imagine that :P

Favorite game has a tie with Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy X. Soon to be though, I know for a fact, Final Fantasy X-2 mixes both of them together, or atleast both of what I liked about them. Final Fantasy V's job system, and Final Fantasy X's graphics, and story.

Favorite character for looks would have to be Rikku, as for "coolness" Sephiroth(Wow, who would have guessed?) I also liked Gogo from FFV(and VI).

Favorite Music would definately be FFIX, "Loss of Me". It's the most enthusiastic music I've ever heard. I can never get tired of it.

Favorite Saying would be when Delita(FF Tactics fans :P) said "They[Everyone. Ramza's brothers in particular] are all swept up in the same flow. I'm just going against it."

Favorite spell would probably be Odin, if you include summons...if not it would probably be Life 3(Final Fantasy VI...not sure of any others). Get's you out of many situations that you might get stuck in ;)

Favorite Char-Dude Its gotta Be Barret.... His lines were just pure classics. Cid with a close second... same reasons

Favorite Battle System-FFX The Sphere grid was a great idea but i was dissapointed that the materia has just gone to hell :( It Was great while it lastest... FF7 materia system not far behind

Favorite Song- FF8 Waltz For The Moon.... I just love it its a great work or art... and FF7's One Winged Angel Very close Behind

Favorite Moment- Any One Of Barrets Rampages.... great moments.... And Then The Blitzball Videos Were Great

Worst FF- Defenitly 8.... the junction system sucks the long one.... its to complicated and aftert he materia system you neek a star not a bust...

Favorite Materia-Contain Materia FF7.... os many options with it and some great moments.... If not for the materia i would be screwed in tehe game...

Favorite Summon-Well KOTR Is cheap as hell so ive got a tie for 1st spot Between Odin and Typhoon from FF7....

Favorite Ability- Auto-Potion.... Works wonders when you need it

Best Intro-FF7.... 8's was to cheesey..... 9 was halfway decent.... 10 was well.... way to long...

The best person from any final Fantesy game would have to be Cloud. He was tuff, deep, skilled, and messed up in the head. That couldn't be a bad hero at all. also he was hooken up with tifa. now, can you really say that he isn't the best person for the job? FF7 was the best that i've played so far. When aries died in FF7, i didn't like her and Sephroth was always the coolest badie to me. The summons are a trade mark of the FF series. It is the best part. :furious:

Tifa (stuck by her man the whole way through.. wow, what a woman)
Yuna (She was a believer, she did the same thing, very faithful)
Rikku (god damn, she's cute and hot all rolled into 1. Also very loyal and has a strong sense of belief. also.. what a woman)

Bahamut ZERO (i was pissing myself when i first saw the summon and i used it in Diamond WEAPON) :eek5:

FFVIII Waltz of the Moon (Squall saved-face when he got that last part right)

FFVII Cloud and Tifa's final scene before the attack on the Crater (still sticking by her man to the end)

FFX Macalania Wood's Water Scene aka, When Tidus and Yuna finally break their sexual tension and share a kiss. (very touching and also a great cut-scene)

FFX Attack on Home, the last part where Tidus learns about the end of Yuna's pilgrimage. Very emotional scene and also at the end of that attack, Where Cid has to make that final decision and everyone on the ship say the Hymn of the Fayth. also very emotional.

Rikku as a Berserker, Lady Luck, and Black Mage, and of course as her default, Theif

Beating Emerald, Ruby, Omega Weapons, Ozma, and All of the Monster Arena Monsters (took me about 300+ hours Mainly because i'm a preparation *****)

There are enough final fantasy games on the market for any one person to play each game until they die, and still not beat each one 100% completely. If I were to suggest something, get a girlfriend/boyfriend, get laid, and stop with all this "final fantasy this, final fantasy that" bullsh.it, because, trust me, people get tired of hearing all this fanboy talk about games that will prevent you from living. These games are FANTASY (hence their names), and Tifa and Yuna are never going to FU.CK you, so stop thinking it's ever gonna happen. I don't mean to be harsh (oh wait, I do), but try living in reality sometime.

Very prejudice statements. I'm pretty sure that you don't know most of the people on these boards, yet you make a blanket label on everyone here. Great job, I applaude you for helping reinforce my outlook on prejudice people.

First of all, what's wrong with liking things? Hell, you do the same thing which makes you no different than any of us. Let's take something you are a great big fan of and make some hypothetical statements.

You like music don't you? Of course, we all do. Let's make it the hypothetical example that you love the band Green Day. Maybe you do, maybe you don't, i don't give a ****, this is an example.

Now, all you can talk about is how great GD is and as a person who's followed them since day 1, the music just flows with you. Now, you find friends and other people with same ideals and such. You start talking to them and eventually you and your friends come to the topic of liking certain songs. One of your buddies asks, "Hey, what's your favorite, song, album, band member, whatever?" And you answer with your answer of something like, "Oh, that's easy. I definitely love the American Idiot album. My favorite song, however, is Good Ridance(Time of your Life). My favorte member is definitely Billy."

And so forth.

What the hell does this have to do with video games? It's parallel. You like your music group/band/whatever on the same ideals as we do with video games and in specific, Final Fantasy. You can go on and on about your music, we can do the same with Final Fantasy.

You and others may not like FF, but we do, that's why we created a thread about it to discuss. You don't have to talk about it, you can't just come in and change our look at the game.

As for a life, yes, I'm a fan and I still do live a healthy life. Yes, believe it or not, I have a girlfriend. I don't care what you think, we're together and you can **** off. I'm a college student with a great social life. Video games are just a luxury to my already happy life.

That statement may not be applied to all fans, but you don't have a right to attack any of them. You don't have to like anything and anyone can respect that, but no one needs to hear you ***** about it in this thread or threads where people just wanna discuss something they enjoy.

Final Fantasy games, in general, are a higher standard of games. In Japan, Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games are larger than any other games, which is why the production values are so high. That's the reason so many people like them, for those naysayers.

The best FF game, in my opinion, was FFX. The free-roaming aspect allows it to go higher on my list than any other FF, and the depth makes it higher than most other games, not just FF ones. The next best game in the series was FFVIII. I don't give a crap what any FFVII fanboy/girl says, that game sucked. FFVIII had a far better storyline, a main character that actually had a personality, and more depth than any FF game before it. Still, I think I'm partial to it for the same reason most are partial to FFVII: It was my first RPG.
